i'll never make it as an english teacher. it's impossible for me to teach grammar..or correct bad grammar. i realise this through my volunteer tutoring. i end up just telling the boy what to write in the blanks..if he asks me why..i may attempt to explain because you need to make use of the present tense say..not the past tense..or something to that extent...but i sincerely doubt he grasps the logic.
just saw memoirs...it's ok...definitely a little overhyped. and the fake japanese accents were annoying. michelle yeoh is so elegant and beautiful. gongli is simply stunning. the kimonos were pretty..haha..but all the allusions to water were a little overbearing..there were simply too many allusions to water. using nature isn't the only way to make a movie seem a little more japanese ya know. it was essentially abt 3 chinese women trying to pass off as japanese...and the secondary geisha characters all looked like transvestites. maybe it's the makeup.
i'm glad i have you weilin. as cliche as this sounds...(: few ppl can take my nonsense...and enjoy it..hahaha...occasionally even calling my silly-ness cute. few ppl engage in intellectual discussions...with occasional bimbo moments..with me aft a movie. i think it's cos you're like me. haha..that's how you can tell what i'm trying to say..or why i do certain things. nonetheless..thank you God...for giving me my lovely dancepartner-neighbour-bitchbuddy-confidante-friend.
